the negative side of visual communication
I view art as a mode of communication, and meaning a crucial element to my personal works. Like how I am fascinated by the various subtleties in verbal communication–from the tone of voice to the use of metaphorical image, the presumption of knowledge and so on– I particularly enjoy artworks that enclose hidden cues in spite of their plainspoken appearances. This idea is the central focus of my negative space project, which is displayed below.
